I support intersection safety improvements, of course, but even after reading the supporting material (including pages 6-7 of the grant application), I don't see the relationship between needed intersection improvements and possibly dodgy housing law compliance.

While I don't wish to be reappointed at this time, I don't understand why the members of all the commissions & boards listed in item 2P can simply be reappointed, but BPAC members need to reapply. If a term is up, the members of all city bodies should be treated no differently from any new members wishing to serve on the body.

After all, city councilmembers have to be re-elected for each term of office.

I'm appalled that we are currently acquiring military equipment for use by our taxpayer-funded police department to use against us taxpayers. I'm sorry I missed this in 2022, in the wake of the George Floyd murder and all the other police murders all across the country. I am completely OPPOSED to its continuation. I did read the police response, and I appreciate the time they took to write it, but that does not change my view. The money could be better spent.
