It's amazing that Council Member Jain continues to lump the City Clerk position with the Chief of Police, as though they were equivalent. There is no rational reason for appointing rather than electing a clerk. Also the attached POA survey is directed. Note that company "Connect Political," bought by NEP Services in 2021, is described as a "full service political and digital strategy firm" rather than a scientifically based polling and analytical service. It is a biased vote getting enterprise.

Howard Myers states: “TO KEEP A NATION STRONG, WE NEED STRONG MILITARY! GLAMORIZING AND ENCOURAGING LGBTQ+ IN THE MILITARY IS WEAKNESS NOT STRENGTH” & "“IF I SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN YOUR WINDOW OR DOOR (rainbowflag) I WON’T BE SHOPPING IN YOUR STORE. I WON’T COMPLAIN. I’LL SIMPL Y REFRAIN.” It makes me question his, Mayor Gillmor, et al their true motives for asking Becker to resign. Especially when Gillmor has never stood up for LGBTQIA+ community, but rather remains silent amid homophobia.
