Although the City has ethics rules designed to promote good goverance, City Council ethics guidelines are routinely disregarded and are not enforced. The Civil Grand Jury has serious concenis that the current City Council Voting Bloc, which essentially dictates City action due to the majority they hold, is not acting in the best interests of the City or acknowlcdging the ethical duties owed to their constituents.

There are misleading statements in the report that I must rebut and correct. It makes false assumptions about my behavior, about my governance and my transparency. I was never interviewed by the Civil Grand Jury, never given the chance to answer questions and correct their assumptions.

Why?
Because I was taught by my friends in Israel the adage,"the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Mr. Becker is a fool, an embarrassment.
The record shows Mr Bonito, Mr Meyers and I have disagreed on about 96,% of things. Mr. Field and I have been on opposite sides.
It does not matter.
We agree on this agenda item
Becker is a useless, unethical con man, an embarassment to the city Jain is committed to destroying the fabric of the Mission City.
They both threaten to destroy Santa Clara's fabric.
It used to be a community where a Howard Meyers and a Larry Marsalli could oppose each other and have coffee later.
I remember being a meeting in San Mateo, a 84 year old man was leading opposition to closing Bay Meadows to convert it to housing. He had a sign with the names of the proponents. Jerry Hill walked in the chamber and greeted the old man affectionately and encouraged to have coffee with him.
THAT IS NORMAL FOR SANTA CLARA until now.
1 Read the texts of racists like Becker and Jain. True Trumpers I am not a fan of Robert Haugh. I wish his blog would disappear.
But if you have to use a political hedgehog, you use it.
I may disagree with Mr Meyers on district elections, but this is an agenda item on.a useless council member. I agree.
