I have lived in Santa Clara since 1983 and have seen the numerous changes to our commurity and am concemed about the overall development and direction toward high density housing. I want to ensure we are planning the future of our city with adequate resources from water, police, fre, etc. to sustain this level of growth. While I was president of the Woodsbourgh HOA, I got irolled with our intenal architectural comnittee and also worked closely with the City of Santa Clara on various projects, including the redevelopment of the old Kaiser hospital. For this reason, I feel I have the practical experience of being on the Planning Commission as weil as my background in Product Management.
in summary, my areas of contribution would be to ensure people who come in frort of the Planning Commission get a fair hearing and that they understand how their requests align with the community. Having dane this at Woodsbourgh for 7 years, I have leamed how to deal with situations were you work together with residents to try and find an accommodation. At the same time, the Planning Comission must know how to respectively decline a request. At a higher lesel, address high density housing, overall master plan for the future, and making sure the City Council has accurate trend data showing where our needs should be focused on.

The planning commission has a sital role in our community. It has an exceptionally hard task of belancing housing and business's noods. I feel that my abilty to toke in large amounts of Information and coming up with logical and crestive solutions will be a great help for this committee. I dont make any large decisions in life without extensive research. Tie applied that to my career with great success, and would apdly it to this committee.

And, I am planning to become a very good, Planning Associate or Assistant in the near future. I prayt:)...To ensure Santa Clara County and Santa Clara, where I began my life and lose, is the best we can bel The best plans need include knowledge of past and be aware of history of the area, and when possible respect what may be deemed appropriate to include. "Would like to also represent our Parents (and as they) who helped support and build this velley since the 60's (and before) and gave their lives for all... *Our Mother, Maudry An Ervin, was Awarded Community Hero by Assemblyman Kasen Chu, for her Lifelime Teaching in Santa Clara, for our youngest Children, making a positive influence. Our Father, Willie Enin, passed early, literally giving his life for his students; his belosed & all talented, junior high students who loved him 1 •Asbestos was found in his Art Teaching Classroom, Which gave him Mesothelioma lung cancer. Deddy went to be with our Lord at 56 years young! His students did not even know, until he sucklerty was gone after only 2 days at Kaiser in Santa Clara. A surprise to us all. Somehosy, it seems seniors become isclated unless they are living at home; with at least a lew close family members; which can be part of the isolation issue... As for our Mother. Even her friends came by much less, very sad to see.

My interests are in community activiles which encourage paople from all nations, regions, faith, cullure, sexual orientation, etc... not orly to be able to share their values, but also respectfully accept that of olhers, I will ensure that no individual or group be treated ifferently based on their color, faith, ethricity, and sexual orientation, etc. My mantra is - "Someone's beliefs, origin, or faith do not make them a better or worse inchidual, but their behavior does."

I have been a resident of the City of Santa Clara for over 20 years. My entire family-wife and two children, all ane active in cultural and social activities though school and verious organizations.
My profession is to help and enable all kinds of organizations to use the most achanced technologies. I help multiple teams of organizations to analyze their operations and associated risks, and only then select a cybersecurity solution. This has helped my obsenation and analytical capability to find unanimously acceptable solutions.
By dusening a few incidents in the community closely, I have concluded that members of this diverse community have yet to leam a lot about each oller. It is due to besitation in sharing good old velues, orlack of open commurication.
