Transfer to the Parks &
Recreation Capital Fund
(Central Park Master Plan -
Aquatic Center Planning &
Design)
241,000 Establishes a Transfer to the Parks & Recreation Capital Fund for the Central Park Master Plan -
Aquatic Center Planning & Design project. This
action changes the project's funding source from
Mitigation Fee Act (MFA) funds to the General Fund
Capital Projects Reserve (CPR) given the focus of
Phase 1 of the project on a forensic
engineering/architectural and failure study of the
International Swim Center facility which is more
appropriately funded by the General Fund. This
allocates funding from the International Swim
Center (ISC) insurance settlement ($241,000 of the
$800,000) that was set aside in the General Fund
Capital Project Reserve (five affirmative Council
votes required for the use of unused balances).
Capital Project Reserve (241,000) Decreases the Capital Project Reserve to transfer $241,000 to the Parks & Recreation Capital Fund to
fund Phase 1 of the Central Park Master Plan -
Aquatic Center Planning & Design project as
described above (five affirmative Council votes
required for the use of unused balances).
