GENERAL BUSINESS

3. Following the information presented at the April 20, 2023 DCTF meeting on the City Hall Relocation City Hall Study Site, the consultant, WRT, will present additional information on the City Hall Concepts on the Study Site.

The City's consultant team presented additional information on the City Hall Concepts on the Study Site selected at the previous DCTF meeting. The DCTF asked questions and discussed the item.

There were two public comments:

Mary Grizzle wanted to know if City Hall leaves its current location who owns the land? And questioned why
the plan for the new location in downtown included two parking garages.

Skip Pearson questioned the viability of the downtown city hall site as the existing courthouse may never
leave. Blocks A and B are already City owned, rent would be free at the commerce building as the City owns
it, and office is important to a successful downtown. Concerned about plan 3 as the area would be dark
at night.
