Integrated Resource Plan (IRP)
• What is the IRP - regulatory compliance document filed with the California Energy Commission every 5 years
• IRP considers and demonstrates pathway towards compliance with state policies and goals:
- Resource Needs/ Choices - Planning for the future
- Policy Goals - City's CAP, Green House Gas (GHG) reduction, renewables, electrification, etc. - Physical and Operational Constraints
- Shows scenarios and alternatives - All scenarios meets state policies and goals 2 2
