Whereas the City Council is elected to address local city issues, not national or international issues.
Whereas the City Council, taking positions on issues beyond their focus is divisive and does not benefit our local community, instead amplifying hate.
Therefore, 1, the undersigned, urge the Santa Clara City Council to not press forward with actions that tear our community apart, and not take a position on the Israel-Hamas war.
