Soroptimist International of Santa Clara Silicon Valley is proud to announce our 12th annual fundraising event, "The Classy Bag Affaire" handbag auction and luncheon to be held in Santa Clara. This wonderful event allows us to give people in our community a helping hand. It is important to so many people that our Soroptimist fundraiser be a success- and we need YOU to make this happen! "The Classy Bag Affaire" is not only a live auction but also includes a wide variety of raffle baskets. "The Classy Bag Affaire "will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:00am.- 2:00pm., at the Santa Clara Marriott, 2700 Mission college Boulevard, Santa Clara. Tickets are $90.00 per person and parking is $5.00 per car. Tickets purchased after 4/15 will be $100. Previewing of the handbags will start at 10:00 am and lunch will be served at 11:30 am.
Your sponsorship of cash, gift certificates or merchandise, will enrich our handbag and basket sales. All donations are welcome, and your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law. We will acknowledge your generous sponsorship in our event program.
Proceeds of this fundraising event will be used by Soroptimist International of Santa Clara Silicon Valley to assist with the following projects:
• 42nd "Annual Soroptimist Christmas Store" for families in need • "Live Your Dream" an award giving financial assistance to women entering or re-entering the workforce
• "Dream It, Be It"- Career support for girls
• "Women Helping Women" - supporting cottage industries in third world countries Your participation in our event makes a difference in so many lives in Santa Clara. A sponsorship form has been enclosed for your convenience.
