Significant deficiency
Description Potential effects Status
The adoption of the new
accounting pronouncement
(GASB 87) was not properly
implemented.

Resulted in the correction of prior period 2023
financial statements and corrected misstatements
in the 2024 financial statements
Management determined this matter to be an immaterial
correction of a prior year error. The prior year 2023
financial statements have been adjusted and a footnote
disclosure 2(L) summarizes the adjustments and effects
on the 2023 fiscal year.

Due to the nature of the error and the impact on the prior year issued financial statements, this is a significant deficiency in internal controls of which we recommend
that management develop a process to ensure all new
accounting pronouncements are properly assessed and
accurately accounted and presented in the year of
implementation.
