RESOLUTION NO. 24-9385
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA,
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION FOR THE
HARD WORK AND PROFESSIONALISM OF CITY STAFF
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Clara is committed to fostering a vibrant, safe, and thriving community for all its residents;
WHEREAS, the success of our city is largely attributed to the hard work and dedication of its employees, who serve our community with integrity and passion; WHEREAS, the City staff has demonstrated professionalism, patience, and perseverance, particularly in managing the complexities associated with a working in a complex organization, while maintaining their commitment to transparency, accuracy, and community service; WHEREAS, the period leading up to the recent election has presented challenges for City staff, including an increase in public discourse, heightened expectations, and demands for information; and
WHEREAS, the efforts of the C ity staff during this time have been instrumental in upholding the integrity of the city's operations, fostering civic engagement, and ensuring that the needs of the community continue to be met without interruption.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the C ity staff for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication ; and

2. That City Council acknowledges the exemplary contributions of each member of the staff, whose efforts have significantly contributed to the continued success and stability of the City.
3. Effective date. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THE FOREGOING TO BE A TRUE COPY OF A RESOLUTION PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA, AT A REGULAR MEETING THEREOF HELD ON THE 12TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2024, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
