PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS
David Mooso, Vice President of the Santa Clara Lawn Bowls Club spoke to the Commission about the potential option to move the lawn bowls green to Fremont Park. He stated that, although there is a positive aspect of moving the lawn bowls green to Fremont Park due to proximity to the Senior Center, there are some negatives such as: limited parking, long distance to interior Senior Center restrooms, Senior Center hours of operation not being conducive to the Santa Clara Lawn Bowls Club's flexible hours of operation in Central Park, etc. Consequently, the Santa Clara Lawn Bowls Club prefers to keep the lawn bowls green at its current location in Central Park.
