For the Warburton Park renovation,O'Dell will assess the feasibility of changing the pool heater from gas to electric. O’Dell will OPTIONALL Y assess requirements for adding solar panels (O'Dell Agreement Exhibit A,

8.1.4.2). I applaud the City for considering the project's potential climate effects. I urge the City to approve a solar panel assessment, including use of hybrid solar panels, which both generate electricity and capture solar heat to heat the pool; and to consider long-term costs.
