RESOLUTION NO. 25-9511
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26
MUNICIPAL FEE SCHEDULE TO ALIGN POOL RENTAL FEES
WITH AN UPDATED FEE STRUCTURE BASED ON PRIORITY
USER GROUPS
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the City of Santa Clara Charter, Municipal Code, Constitution of the State of California, and California Government Code, fees and charges assessed by the City of Santa Clara may be amended or modified upon the adoption of a Resolution by the City Council;
WHEREAS, on April 29, 2025, the City Council adopted the FY 2025/26 Municipal Fee Schedule (Resolution 25-9437) which included Pool Rental fees for Shared Facility and Exclusive Use;
WHEREAS, the City has conducted community outreach, a benchmark analysis and review of its field infrastructure needs; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City’s analysis and review, the City now desires to amend the Pool Rental Fees as detailed in the FY 2025/26 Adopted Municipal Fee Schedule.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council hereby finds that the above Recitals are true and correct and by this reference makes them a part hereof.
2. That the FY 2025/26 Municipal Fee Schedule is hereby amended to modify the Parks and Recreation Department’s Pool Rental Fees as follows:

Shared Facility $89 per hour
Exclusive Use $289 per hour
Priority User Group 1 - No Fee
Priority User Group 2 - $8 per hour per lane
Priority User Group 3 - $16 per hour per lane
Priority User Group 4 - $16 per hour per lane
Priority User Group 5 - $20 per hour per lane
Priority User Group 6 - $40 per hour per lane
Priority User Group 7 - $40 per hour per lane
3. The fees described in Section 2 of this Resolution shall replace the Pool Rental fees contained in the FY 2025/26 Adopted Municipal Fee Schedule (Resolution 25-9437).
4. In order to implement the fees described herein, Council shall establish through separate action(s) descriptions for each Priority User Group Category.
5. Effective date. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
