WHEREAS, as the largest multicultural Lunar New Year Festival and Night Market in Silicon Valley, the Silicon Valley New Year Together celebration brings together Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, Filipino, Japanese, Portuguese, Cambodian, Mongolian, and many other communities to honor heritage, music, arts, family traditions, and community pride .and
WHEREAS, with 30,000 plus attendees, the Silicon Valley New Year Together Celebration has become a signature cultural destination and a powerful opportunity for sponsors to support diversity, visibility, and a thriving multicultural community; and
WHEREAS, 2026 marked the 5th annual Silicon Valley New Year Together Celebration created by the Silicon Valley Lunar New Year Together Committee, comprised of Ding Ding TV and OMG Entertainment; and
WHEREAS, Ding Ding TV/ Silicon Valley Community Media through storytelling, media, and community programs amplifies Asian American voices and builds bridges across cultures. OMG Entertainment specializes in marketing and large -scale event planning, bringing exciting, themed events to local communities.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LISA M. GILLMOR, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor, and on behalf of the Santa Clara City Council, do hereby recognize and congratulate the
