Subject: Letter of Support for TID Renewal

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express my strong support for the renewal of the Tourism Improvement District (TID).

The TID has played a meaningful role in strengthening our local tourism ecosystem by providing dedicated resources for marketing, destination branding, and economic development initiatives that individual businesses could not effectively achieve on their own. The collective investment through the TID has helped drive demand, increase visitation, and enhance the overall competitiveness of our destination.

From a hotel operator’s perspective, the programs funded by the TID have contributed to improved visibility, stronger group and leisure demand, and increased collaboration between the city, hospitality partners, and local stakeholders. These efforts not only support hotels, but also benefit restaurants, retail, attractions, and the broader community by generating incremental economic activity and tax revenue.

Equally important, the TID provides accountability and transparency, ensuring funds are reinvested locally with a clear focus on measurable outcomes. The ongoing partnership between the TID, the City, and private stakeholders has proven effective, practical, and aligned with long-term economic goals.

For these reasons, I strongly support the renewal of the TID and believe its continuation is essential for sustaining growth, promoting our destination, and supporting the vitality of our local tourism and hospitality industry.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Nany Fullmore
General Manager
