Community Development -
Materials, Services, Supplies
48,000 The City of Santa Clara contracts with the County to perform and implement the weed abatement
program. This program is funded by tax
assessments paid by property owners; however,
should the tax assessments fall under the cost of
the program, the County bills the participating cities
for their portion of the shortfall. For FY 2025/26, the County identified a shortfall and has billed the City
for its share. This action increases the Community
Development Department's materials, services,
and supplies budget to cover the costs of this billing
(five affirmative Council votes required for the
use of unused balances).

Other Fees for Services / NonDepartmental Stadium Operations 1,522,000 1,522,000 Increases the Other Fees for Services estimate and increases the Non-Departmental Stadium

and referee dugouts at YSP in the amount of $64K,
as well as relocation-related costs of $6,513
incurred by youth sports groups (five affirmative
