PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of amendments to various sections to Title 17 of the City of Santa Clarita’s Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Unified Development Code (UDC)

This is to advise that the [ ] Director of Public Works [ ] Planning Commission [X] City Council of the City of Santa Clarita has approved the above project on June 27, 2023. Review of the project by the Department of Community Development found that the project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
EXEMPT STATUS: The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Article 5 Section 15061(b)(3), the commo n-sense exemption. The activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activi ty in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA.
