CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Gibbs called to order the Special Meeting at 5:30 p.m.

All Councilmembers were present, with the exception of Mayor Pro Tem Smyth.

No requests to speak were received.
CLOSED SESSION
Joseph Montes, City Attorney, advised of the need to conduct a Closed Session for the purpose of holding a:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) - one matter
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS

Agency Negotiator: City Manager or designee
Unrepresented Employees: All positions not represented by SEIU Local 721

RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION - TO BE HELD IN THE CARL BOYER ROOM Mayor Gibbs recessed the meeting to Closed Session at 5:30 p.m.
RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Gibbs reconvened the meeting to Open Session at 6:10 p.m.
CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Joseph Montes announced that no action was taken in Closed Session that was required to be reported.
ADJOURN
Mayor Gibbs adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:11 p.m.
