SPECIAL NOTICE OF UNSCHEDULED VACANCY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Santa Clarita encourages residents to apply for a position to participate in local government as a result of an unscheduled vacancy. One unexpired term of office on the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission ends December 31, 2026.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must maintain their principal residence in the City of Santa Clarita during their term of office. Residents may obtain applications or further information from the City Clerk's Office or by calling 661-255-4391. Applications are also available on the City's website at santaclarita.gov/city-clerk/notice-of-vacancy. All applicants must also submit three letters of recommendation with their application. The deadline for submitting an application and letters of recommendation to the City Clerk’s Office is 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
