NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
APPLICATION: Vista Canyon Project – Master Case 07-127
PROJECT APPLICANT: City of Santa Clarita
PROJECT LOCATION: Vista Canyon Specific Plan Area (generally bounded by State Route 14 to the north, La Veda Avenue to the east, the Union Pacific Railroad right-of- way to the south, and Lost Canyon Road to the west)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The City of Santa Clarita Department of Public Works is requesting revisions to Master Case 07-127 (the Vista Canyon Project), including modifications to previously approved Engineering conditions of approval EN42 and EN43. These revisions address the construction of the previously approved bridge from the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Lost Canyon Road to the Vista Canyon development.
The requested revision would permit the City of Santa Clarita to construct the bridge and would not change any of the physical improvements within the approved project.
The City of Santa Clarita City Council will conduct a public hearing on this matter on the following date:

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: On April 26, 2011, the City Council certified the Project’s Final EIR (SCH No. 2007071039). Authorizing the proposed actions will not result in any new environmental effect not already considered in the FEIR regarding the Project. Consequently, no additional environmental review is required.
If you wish to challenge the action taken on this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearings described in this notice, or written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clarita at, or prior to, the public hearings. If you wish to have written comments included in the materials the City Council receives prior to the public hearing, it must be submitted to the Public Works Department by Thursday, February 8, 2024.
