WELCOME
A welcome message was provided by City Manager Ken Striplin.
INVOCATION
Jake Barker of Real Life Church delivered the invocation.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Cameron Smyth at 3:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL
All Councilmembers were present with the exception of Councilmember Weste.
FLAG SALUTE
Paul Butler, Santa Clarita Business Owner, led the flag salute which was followed by the Hart High School Show Choir performance of the National Anthem.
STATE OF THE CITY
Mayor Smyth welcomed the audience; recognized local officials; and spoke of the many successful partnerships among the City of Santa Clarita, local organizations, and agencies.
Brief remarks were made by the Councilmembers in attendance and video presentations were shown.
City Manager Striplin made a special presentation recognizing Mayor Smyth's service to the community.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR AGENDIZED ITEMS
No requests to speak were received.
ADJOURN
Mayor Smyth adjourned the meeting at 4:29 p.m.
