The following questions were asked and answered:
Q1) Do we have to grade the whole area?
A1) No. Grading is only required as specified on the plans. Contractors shall follow proposed contours, flowlines, and localized grading for features such as the swale, DG paths, and basin areas. (LC-1.01, LC-
2.01)
Q2) For the 145 cubic yards of export soil, where will that be at? A2) Soil export quantities are estimated based on grading cuts throughout the project site, particularly in the swale, basin, and pathway areas. Some of the material may be used for on-site berming. Any excess will be utilized by the City. (LC-1.01)
Q3) The lumbar bench is in the bid line item but does not show in the plans the location of the installation. Can you clarify placement of the bench?
A3) Exact placement will be field verified and staked by the City representative prior to installation. (See Attachment: Bench Locations)

Q4) Will there be clean up of the existing trees and fallen limbs before the start of the project? What about the Oak trees if low branches are in the way?
A4) Clearing, grubbing, and removals are identified in bid line item #2. The City will complete minor debris removal and perform tree trimming as needed prior to the start of work, including selective pruning of oak trees for clearance.
Q5) Can we skirt away anything that will be interfering.
A5) Minor vegetation removal within the project footprint is allowed. The Contractor must refer to the plans and confirm with the City Representative before removing any existing vegetation not clearly marked for demolition.
Q6) Will the low hanging limbs be removed by the City?
A6) Yes. The City will perform necessary trimming to provide clearance prior to the Contractor's mobilization.
Q7) Is there only one parking lot and access road to site? A7) Yes, that is the only access area. (Map of Access Points attached)
Q8) Will the area need to be fenced off while work is being done? A8) Yes. Temporary construction fencing is required along the front of the project area adjacent to the asphalt trail and any other locations where public safety or protection of existing trees warrants it. Refer to plans for the limit of work. LC-1.01, Demolition Notes #1
Q9) For removal of debris, can we park vehicles near the site on the access road? A9) Vehicles may station across from the project site but may not block the access road for an extended period of time.

Q20) 3) Regarding Sheet 17 (Detail D – Wood Bridge) and Paving Schedule P-5:
The Wood Bridge detail (Sheet 3 of 9) calls out pressure treated wood for multiple structural elements (e.g., 6x12 PT beam, 2x8 PT decking, 4x6 PT curbs). A21) A. Pea gravel shall be washed and have a color blend matching the specified boulder color.
B. Aluminum edging to match as referenced for the decomposed granite and be Permaloc 'CleanLine XL' or equal. C. Where Pea Gravel is called for, section shall be revised to 6” depth of pea gravel over filter fabric atop compacted subgrade. No crushed aggregate base is required and is omitted from detail ‘G’/LC-2.01. Per Bid Instructions Section 9 Brand names, Alternatives, or Equivalents, the deadline to submit equivalents has passed.
