PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Santa Maria will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 110 East Cook Street, Santa Maria, California, to consider the following:
201 TOWN CENTER WEST. The City Council will consider a recommendation of the Planning Commission to review a Downtown Permit (DT2022-0018) for The Vernon Group to convert an existing 84,000 square foot structure to a two-story 104-unit residential use on a 1.3-acre site in the Town Center District of the Downtown Specific Plan.
Information regarding this item is on file in the Community Development Department, 110 S. Pine Street, (805) 925-0951, ext. 1607. Copies of the staff report regarding this item will be available for public review on the City’s Website at www.cityofsantamaria.org by Friday, March 3, 2023.
All interested persons are invited to participate in this meeting. If you challenge the above-noticed project in court, you may be limited to raising those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Maria at, or prior to, the public hearing. The City of Santa Maria welcomes orderly participation at its meetings from all members of the public. As required by the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City has assisted listening equipment available for the hearing impaired. To request assistance, please call (805) 925-0951, extension 2307.
