As a CPAP dependent low‐income senior resident of Santa Maria, I want to give kudos to the Independent Living Resource Center for providing me with backup energy for my CPAP machine. They’ve provided me with the peace of mind of being free from blackout nights. In addition, they also help ed me set up a comprehensive emergency plan. They’ve also helped me assemble a complete natural disaster emergency kit. Their own detailed plan has even made provision for recharging my backup power at multiple local charging stations in the event of a prolonged power outage. Please allow me to endorse thei r good work and to encourage you to help the ILRC expand their services to meet the needs of our growing city.
