1. The sewer rate increase is out of line with other rate classifications and places an undue burden on people, especially seniors. Suggests an affidavit that seniors can sign affirming they are a small household; this affirmation would make them eligible for a reduced sewer rate.
2. It’s a shame that more people don’t take more interest in this process.
3. It seemed like with the Fitch Bond rating that the City’s sewer fees were doing well.
4. I came to better understand the written protest process and it doesn’t seem like enough protests are possible to stop the new rates.
