SUBJECT: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 2023 -04 Amending the Official Zoning Map for the Santa Maria Cemetery District
Description:
The City Council will conduct the second reading to a dopt Ordinance No. 2023 -04, amending the Official Zoning Map for 0.87 acres located at the 600 block of East Newlove Drive.
Environmental Notice: Environmental Review for this project was completed through the preparation of an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (SCH #2023040484) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines.
RECOMMENDATION:
Conduct the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2023 -04 amending the Official Zoning Map for 0.87 acres located at the 600 block of East Newlove Drive from PD/R -2 (Planned Development/Medium Density Residential) to PD/PF (Planned Development/Public Facilities) zoning district.
BACKGROUND:
At its regular meeting held November 7, 2023, the City Council received a staff presentation, conducted a public hearing, and introduced Ordinance No. 2023-04 for the first reading to amend the Zoning Map for 0.87 acres from PD/R-2 to PD/PF.
DISCUSSION:
This constitutes the second reading of Ordinance No. 2023 -04. This Ordinance will become effective 30 days after City Council approval.
