AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This Amendment No. 1 to the January 25, 2023, Agreement by and between 2 Mexicans, LLC dba 2M Waste Solutions, a California Corporation (“Contractor”), and the City of Santa Maria, a California Municipal Corporation and charter city (“City”), in Santa Maria, California, based on the following recitals:
1. The original term of the contract was one year, which expired January 16, 2024; and
2. The City needs services through June 2027, and does not have available employees to perform the services for the project; and
3. There was no cap for the original contract amount; and
4. The City has spent approximately $162,000 on encampment cleanup services provided by 2M Waste Solutions since January 2023; and
5. Contractor is registered or licensed in California to perform professional and technical services for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED:
1. The term of the agreement is extended through June 30, 2027 (“Extension Term”).
2. The not-to-exceed amount during the Extension Term is $250,000.
3. The effective date of this Amendment is January 17, 2024.
4. All other terms and conditions will remain in effect until the completion of the project.
