SUBJECT: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 202 4-02 Amending the Official Zoning Map for the Holiday Inn Express
Description:
The City Council will conduct the second reading to a dopt Ordinance No. 202 4-02, amending the Official Zoning Map for 2.13 acres located at the 2000 block of Roemer Court.
Environmental Notice: Environmental Review for this project was completed through the preparation of an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaratio n pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines.
RECOMMENDATION:
Conduct the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 202 4-02 amending the Official Zoning Map for 2.13 acres located at the 2000 block of Roemer Court from PD/CM (Planned Development / Commercial Manufacturing) to PD/C-2 (Planned Development / General Commercial) zoning district.
BACKGROUND:
At its regular meeting held on March 5, 2024 , the City Council received a staff presentation, conducted a public hearing, and introduced Ordinance No. 2024-02 for the first reading to amend the Zoning Map for 2.13 acres from PD/CM to PD/C-2.
DISCUSSION:
This constitutes the second reading of Ordinance No. 202 4-02. This Ordinance will become effective 30 days after City Council approval.
