Mayor Patino called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m.

Councilmembers Maribel Aguilera-Hernandez, Mike Cordero, Carlos Escobedo, Gloria Soto, and Mayor Alice Patino
Councilmember Escobedo was not present for roll call. He arrived at 10:06 a.m.
Councilmember Aguilera-Hernandez was not present for roll call. She arrived at 10:08 a.m.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:
Interim City Manager Posada, City Attorney Watson, and Assistant City Clerk Valadez (for roll call only).
2. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Mayor Patino invited public comment. Speaking from the public was Matt Chircop.
3. RECESS -CLOSED SESSION
3.a Public Employee Recruitment - City Manager, Pursuant to California Government Code §54956.8 Mayor Patino recessed to a Closed Session at 10:09 a.m.
4. RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Patino reconvened to open session at 11:36 a.m.
5. REPORT BY THE CITY ATTORNEY FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Watson reported that direction was provided to staff to proceed with the recruitment process, with details forthcoming.
6. ADJOURNMENT
1 There being no further business before the City Council, Mayor Patino declared the City Council meeting adjourned at 11:38 a.m.
