RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MARIA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
PREFERENTIAL PARKING PRIVILEGES TO VEHICLES DISPLAYING A
VALID PARKING PERMIT IN THE PACIFIC CREST ESTATES
NEIGHBORHOOD BOUNDED BY THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF
WEST BATTLES ROAD, EASTERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF BISCAYNE
STREET, NORTHERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF SONYA LANE, WESTERLY
RIGHT OF WAY OF PERGOLA STREET, AND THE EXISTING
PEDESTRIAN PATH.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Santa Maria to establish permit parking zones at certain locations within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Maria Traffic Committee has reviewed the issue and recommended the establishment of permit parking zones at the locations described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 7-5.14 of the Santa Maria Municipal Code, a permit parking zone is to be established effective 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at the following locations:
Capitola Street - along the westerly right-of-way of Capitola Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the southerly right-of-way of Granada Street.
Capitola Street - along the easterly right-of-way of Capitola Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the southerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the northerly right-of-way of Granada Street.
Anabelle Street - along the northerly right -of-way of Anabelle Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Capitola Street and end at the easterly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive.
Anabelle Street - along the southerly right -of-way of Anabelle Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Capitola Street and end at the westerly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive.
Belmont Court - along the westerly right-of-way of Belmont Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the southerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Belmont Court.
Belmont Court - along the easterly right-of-way of Belmont Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the southerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Belmont Court.
2 Paraiso Drive - along the westerly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive, the permit parking zone shall begin at the southerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the northerly right-of-way of Granada Street.
Paraiso Drive - along the easterly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Anabelle Street and end at the southerly right-of-way of Granada Street.
Granada Street - along the northerly right -of-way of Granada Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Capitola Street and end at the westerly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive.
Granada Street - along the southerly right-of-way of Granada Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Capitola Street and end at the easterly right-of-way of Paraiso Drive.
Adler Court - along the westerly right -of-way of Adler Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Granada Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Adler Court.
Adler Court - along the easterly right-of-way of Adler Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Granada Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Adler Court.
Burgundy Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Burgundy Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Burgundy Court.
Burgundy Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Burgundy Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Burgundy Court.
Alba Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Alba Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Alba Court.
Alba Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Alba Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Alba Court.
Damask Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Damask Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Pergola Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Damask Court.
Damask Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Damask Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Pegola Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Damask Court.
3 Rimes Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Rimes Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Pergola Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Rimes Court.
Rimes Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Rimes Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Pergola Street and end at the cul-de-sac of Rimes Court.
Nartatez Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Nartatez Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Nartatez Court.
Nartatez Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Nartatez Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Western Avenue and end at the cul-de-sac of Nartatez Court.
Janelle Lane - along the westerly right-of-way of Janelle Lane, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Nartatez Court and end at the northerly right-of-way of Menusa Court.
Janelle Lane - along the easterly right-of-way of Janelle Lane, the permit parking zone shall begin at the northerly right-of-way of Nartatez Court and end at the southerly right-of-way of Menusa Court.
Menusa Court - along the northerly right-of-way of Menusa Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the westerly right-of-way of Janelle Lane and end at the cul-de-sac of Menusa Court.
Menusa Court - along the southerly right-of-way of Menusa Court, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Janella Lane and end at the cul-de-sac of Menusa Court.
Provance Avenue - along the northerly right-of-way of Provance Avenue, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Biscayne Street and end at the existing pedestrian path.
Provance Avenue - along the southerly right-of-way of Provance Avenue, the permit parking zone shall begin at the easterly right-of-way of Biscayne Street and end at the westerly right-of-way of Pergola Street.
Pergola Street - along the westerly right-of-way of Pergola Street, the permit parking zone shall begin at the southerly right-of-way of Provance Avenue and end at the northerly right-of-way of Sonya Lane.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
1. The foregoing shall constitute traffic regulations pursuant to the City's Ordinance. 4 2. All work is to be accomplished using the standards and methods approved by the Director of Public Works. This shall be in accordance with standard City specifications, and the provisions of this Resolution are to be carried out by erecting signs, and by such other indicators or devices as may be under provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make minor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorn ey concerning any changes deemed necessary.
