Mayor Patino called the meeting to order at 11:32 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Councilmembers Maribel Aguilera-Hernandez, Mike Cordero, Carlos Escobedo, Gloria Soto, and Mayor Alice Patino.
Councilmember Soto was absent for roll call; she arrived at 11:36 a.m.
Councilmember Aguilera-Hernandez was absent for roll call; she arrived at 11:38 a.m.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT:
Interim City Manager Posada, Assistant City Attorney Whitham, and Assistant City Clerk Valadez (for roll call only).
2. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Mayor Patino invited public comment. No public comment was received.
3. RECESS-CLOSED SESSION
3.a Public Employee Recruitment - City Manager, Pursuant to California Government Code §54956.8 Mayor Patino recessed to a Closed Session at 11:33 a.m.

5. REPORT BY THE CITY ATTORNEY FROM CLOSED SESSION
Assistant City Attorney Whitham reported that the City Council met in closed session and provided direction to the recruiter.
6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the City Council, Mayor Patino declared the City Council meeting adjourned at 1:19 p.m.
