Hometown Heroes

City of Santa Maria Hometown Heroes
The Santa Maria Hometown Heroes Program was established in 2016 to honor the brave residents of Santa Maria who have dedicated their lives to serving in the military. The program aims to recognize and celebrate these individuals for their
commitment and sacrifices. Additionally, it acknowledges the vital contributions of first responders, healthcare professionals, educators, and other essential workers who tirelessly work to ensure the safety, well-being, and education of the Santa Maria community. The program serves as a testament to the courage and resilience of these local heroes, shining a spotlight on their invaluable service both at home and abroad.
