AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

his Amendment No. 1 to Interim City Manager Services is made on the 17th day of September 2024, by and between the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as “City,” and Alex Posada, an individual, hereinafter referred to as “Employee,” with reference pursuant to the following:
W
HEREAS, on June 4, 2024, the City Council of the City of Santa Maria established a new contract with Employee to continue serving as the Interim City Manager, effective through September 30, 2024; and
W
HEREAS, the City Council desires to extend this A greement to the end of the pay period on October 4, 2024; and
W
HEREAS, the Employee wishes to serve the City Council as its Interim City Manager through October 4, 2024.
NO
W, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises, terms and conditions contained in the original A greement and this Amendment, City and Employee agree to the extension of the Agreement, and unless otherwise terminated under the provisions of Section 7, shall remain in effect through October 4, 2024.
