RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR INTERIM CITY MANAGER
SERVICES
WHEREAS, Alex Posada entered into an agreement to serve as Interim City Manager until September 30, 2024, and the City Council ratified that agreement on June 4, 2024;
WHEREAS, Mr. Posada’s current contract terminates on September 30, 2024 , prior to the end of a pay period, and
WHEREAS, the agreement is being extended to align with the pay period ending on October 4, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Santa Maria approves an extension of the Employment Agreement with Alex Posada through October 4, 2024, and authorizes the Mayor to sign and execute the Agreement; and
2. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
