RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA, CANCELING THE
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MEETINGS ON OCTOBER 15, 2024, AND NOVEMBER 5, 2024
WHEREAS, the City Council meets on a regular schedule twice a month , on the first and third Tuesdays; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to cancel meetings when necessary; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the League of California Cities Conference call for the cancelation of the October 15, 2024, City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that Elections Day 202 4 call for the cancelation of the November 5, 2024, City Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria that the October 15 , 2024, and November 5, 2024 City Council meeting are canceled.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, held this 1st day of October 2024.
