SUBJECT: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 202 4-06 Amending the Official Zoning Map for Santa Maria Public Airport District Project at 1494 Fairway Drive
Description:
The City Council will conduct the second reading to a dopt Ordinance No. 202 4-06, amending the Official Zoning Map for 6.95 acres located at 1494 Fairway Drive.
Environmental Notice: Environmental Review for this project was completed through the preparation of an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaratio n (SCH#2024070374) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines.
RECOMMENDATION:
Conduct the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2024-06 amending the Official Zoning Map for 6.95 acres located at 1494 Fairway Drive from OS (Open Space) to PD/M- 1 (Planned Development / Light Manufacturing) zoning district.
BACKGROUND:
At its regular meeting held on November 19 , 2024 , the City Council received a staff presentation, conducted a public hearing, and introduced Ordinance No. 2024-06 for the first reading to amend the Zoning Map for 6.95 acres from OS to PD/M-1.
DISCUSSION:
This constitutes the second reading of Ordinance No. 202 4-06. This Ordinance will become effective 30 days after City Council approval.
