4. Central Coast Collaborative on Homelessness (3CH) (Home for Good)
5. CommUnify (formerly Community Action Commission) (CAC)

2 Excerpts from the City’s Maddy Book contain information about each of the boards, including the current representatives and alternates, as well as the purpose of the various boards (Attachment B).
Fiscal Considerations:
Only one of the nine boards provides a stipend to its members. SBCAG independently pays a $100 per meeting stipend to its Board members. Travel expenses incurred by Councilmembers to various boards, commissions, and committee meetings are provided for in the monthly auto allowances provided by the City to Councilmembers
Impact to the Community
Having Councilmembers serve on outside agencies positively impacts the community by ensuring Santa Maria is well -represented when countywide matters are addressed by various boards, commissions, and committees. Their participation guarantees that the community remains informed about the activities and decisions of these outside agencies.
Councilmembers who participate in these meetings are required to report any significant actions taken, if any, by these committees a t each City Council meeting during Oral Reports of Councilmembers and Officers (including AB 1234 reports) section of the agenda.
