A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE FINAL MAP AND SUBDIVISION
IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT WITH PEOPLE’S SELF-HELP
HOUSING CORPORATION, ALLOWING THE DEFERRAL
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
FOR SKYLIGHT HOMES, TRACT 6033
WHEREAS, the Final Map for Skylight Homes, Tract 6033, conforms to the tentative map approved by the Planning Commission on January 17, 2023, and meets all imposed conditions
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Final Map and Subdivision Improvement Agreement for Skylight Homes, Tract 6033, as filed with the Chief Deputy City Clerk, are approved. The Mayor, or in their absence the City Manager, is authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
SECTION 2. The City Engineer is authorized to review, approve, and execute a Subdivision Improvement Extension Agreement as provided in Paragraph 5 of the Subdivision Improvement Agreement.
SECTION 3. The City Engineer is authorized to review, approve, and execute a novation of the agreement as provided in Paragraph 4 regarding the Subdivider’s obligations upon sale or disposition of the subdivision.
SECTION 4. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is authorized to certify the title sheet and forward the map to the County Clerk-Recorder for official recordation.
SECTION 5. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make minor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
