ILRC helped me when I needed it most.
I had open heart surgery in August, and have had some struggles since. When it came time for me to discharge from the hospital, ILRC stepped in to make sure I had everything I needed. They helped me get a walker so that I can get around my house, they checked in on me often to make sure I had everything I needed, and they are helping me apply for in home supportive services.
If it wasn’t for ILRC, I would have had to go to a skilled nursing facility after my surgery.
Instead, I was able to go home and heal in the comfort of my own home.
I can’t state enough how helpful ILRC is. The staff is passionate, helpful, and dedicated.
I will use them as a resource again and again as I need them.
Please consider ILRC for any funding that you may have so that they can continue to help me and others in the community.
