A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO
MGT IMPACT SOLUTIONS, LLC FOR A COMPREHENSIVE
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY
WHEREAS, a comprehensive review of classification and compensation across the City is necessary due to naturally occurring changes in the labor market,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to ensure market and internal alignment, to simplify and clarify classification structures,
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from ten vendors following a competitive bid process; and
WHEREAS, following deliberations, the selection committee determined that MGT Impact Solutions, LLC submitted the most qualified, comprehensive, and complete solution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Awarding a Professional Services Agreement for Comprehensive Classification and Compensation Study to MGT Impact Solutions , LLC for a fee of $237,909; and
SECTION 2 . Authorizing the City Manager , or designee, to execute the Professional Services Agreement upon receipt of information required by the Request for Proposal; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
