A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO
TRITON TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS FOR UPGRADING THE
AUDIO-VISUAL SYSTEM IN SHEPARD HALL
WHEREAS, the audio-visual technology in Shepard Hall has passed its useful life and has become unreliable and increasingly difficult to use; and
WHEREAS, Shepard Hall is a heavily use d resource for City staff and the public for meetings, programs, presentations, and educational sessions; and
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from three vendors following a competitive bid process; and
WHEREAS, following deliberations, the selection committee determined that Triton Technology Solutions submitted the most qualified, comprehensive, and responsive bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Awarding a Professional Services Agreement for Shepard Hall Audio- Visual upgrade services to Triton Technology Solutions for a fee of $189,096.77; and
SECTION 2. Authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute the Professional Services Agreement upon receipt of information required by the Request for Proposal; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
