RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE RECORDATION OF A LOT LINE
ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN LOTS 117-330-099 AND 117-990-020
WHEREAS, the City owns lot 117-330-099; and
WHEREAS, Palmetto Group, LLC owns lot 117-990-020; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Santa Maria to plan for growth of the Santa Maria Police Department and to do so in a n efficient and fiscally responsible manner; and
WHEREAS, the City and Palmetto Group, LLC have agreed to this Lot Line Adjustment as part of an Agreement of Purchase and Sale dated December 1, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-11.03 of the Santa Maria Municipal Code, a Lot Line Adjustment shall be executed between Palmetto Group, LLC, and the City of Santa Maria for lots 117-990-020 and 117-330-099 respectively, and approved by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Santa Maria, a Lot Line Adjustment with Palmetto Group, LLC, and
SECTION 2. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make minor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
