Subject: No raises for Rowlands and Watsons

*** EXTERNAL EMAIL: Please use caution when opening links or attachments.*** Please explain why and extra $65,000 of City tax dollars are going to a person, David Rowlands? He has only been employeed by the city for 9 months and has done nothing during the 9 months to deserve a raise, let alone
a $65,000 raise.
The City is in such a large deficit, they should not be giving any management a raise.
Management decisions are the reason we are in a deficit. All broadband positions (including the City Manager and City Attorney) are the largest government paychecks on the Central Coast and none of them should be getting raises. ESPECIALLY someone who hasn’t even been here a year and will most likely be retiring within a couple years at that large paycheck.
Please do right by the citizens of Santa Maria and vote NO to David Rowlands and Thomas Watsons receiving raises.
