I see that the Landscape Bid Award is questionably placed on the June 17 agenda's Consent Calendar.
Given the following, it should be pulled for open discussion:
1) this award is a multi-year, multi-million dollar commitment,
2) the lowest bidder is, once again, not being recommended for the award despite being a responsible bidder; and,
3) over the meximum term, the rate-payers will be paying a premium, estimated to be $1.5 to $2 million.
Please consider pulling this item for discussion.
