A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING A PUBLIC SIDEWALK EASEMENT LOCATED
AT 1925 S BROADWAY (STATE ROUTE 135)
WHEREAS, Mister Car Wash, a new development located at 1925 S outh Broadway (State Route 135) , received Planning Commission approval under PD2023- 0008; and
WHEREAS, the developer is constructing new vehicular driveways that require the provisions of an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant clear path of trave l across the driveways along the Broadway (State Route 135) frontage; and
WHEREAS, staff have reviewed the submitted easement documents and found them to be acceptable for the intended public sidewalk access purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOL VED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve acceptance of a public sidewalk easement located at 1925 S. Broadway (State route 135.
SECTION 2. A uthorize the Chief Deputy City Clerk to record the approved document with the Santa Barbara County Clerk Recorder; and
SECTION 3. Authorize the Chief Deputy City Clerk to make minor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
