A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
DECLARING A 2012 TORO GM3280-D SMALL RIDE-ON MOWER,
ASSET ID #BA-0003052 (F438-12)
(SERIAL NUMBER 312000153), AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
AND APPROVING ITS DONATION TO THE
ORCUTT YOUTH SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, The City of Santa Maria Fleet Services Division has determined a 2012 Toro GM3280-D Small Ride-On Mower to be surplus property; and
WHEREAS, the donation of the 2012 Toro GM3280-D Small Ride-On Mower will allow the Orcutt Youth Softball Association to maintain youth league fields within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Orcutt Youth Softball Association and community would benefit from the use of such equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. One 2012 Toro GM3280-D Small Ride-On Mower is hereby declared as surplus property and said surplus property is authorized to be donated to the Orcutt Youth Softball Association for use in the community; and
SECTION 2. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
