A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
K-PW-2023-052 WITH FINANCE DTA EXTENDING THE TERM
AND APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $30,990
FOR THE GROWTH MITIGATION NEXUS FEE UPDATE
WHEREAS, City of Santa Maria and Finance DTA entered into agreement K-PW- 2023-052 on January 15, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the original professional services contract scope and term are nearing completion and additional tasks and time are needed to satisfactorily complete the Growth Mitigation Nexus Fee update; and
WHEREAS, Finance DTA has provided a proposal scope and fee that has been reviewed and approved by the Public Works Department to complete the Growth Mitigation Nexus Fee update.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Approving Contract K -PW-2023-052 as amended to increase the not-to-exceed amount by $30,990 for a total contract amount of $99,880. Contract K-PW- 2023-052 is also amended to extend the term to December 31, 2025; and
SECTION 2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute amended agreement; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
