AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT
This Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Municipal Improvements Job Order Pavement Repairs Contract 2023–2024, Formal Bid No. 2023-05, dated June 20, 2023, is made on November 18, 2025 by and between V. Lopez Jr. & Sons, Inc. , a California Corporation (“Contractor”) , and the City of Santa Maria, a California Municipal Corporation and charter city (“City”), in Santa Maria, California, based on the follow ing recitals:
1. On June 20, 2023, the City and Contractor entered into an Agreement for Municipal Improvements Job Order Pavement Repairs Contract 2023–2024, Formal Bid No. 2023-05, in an amount not to exceed $4,000,000;
2. The City desires to increase the not-to-exceed amount to provide for additional pavement repair work under the existing scope of services; and
3. The Contractor agrees to the increase in compensation as set forth below, and both parties wish to amend the Agreement accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED:
1. The total not-to-exceed amount under the Agreement is hereby increased by $119,008.12;
2. The new total not-to-exceed amount under the Agreement shall be $4,119,008.12; and
3. All other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged.
