A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING A PUBLIC LANDSCAPE EASEMENT
LOCATED AT 2326 SOUTH BROADWAY (STATE ROUTE 135),
SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), a new development located at 2326 South Broadway (State Route 135) , received Planning Commission approval under A2024-0015; and
WHEREAS, the developer is installing public landscaping, including street trees, along the Broadway (State Route 135) frontage; and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed the submitted easement documents and found them to be acceptable for the intended public landscaping purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Accepting public landscape easement located at 2326 South Broadway, Santa Maria, California; and
SECTION 2 . Authorize the Chief Deputy City Clerk to record the approved document with the Santa Barbara County Clerk Recorder; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
